I've been reviewing movies on Newgrounds since 2003. I've loved this sight ever since I discovered it. One thing I loved more than anything was reviewing movies. When I first started reviewing movies, I was 20 years old and had nothing better to do. Newgrounds was before youtube in the whole reviewing other people's movies hype. It gave me a chance to be a total dick. Looking back, I reviewed movies harshly when I started out and I had never even tried to make a flash cartoon. Later on I found out that flash is a pretty hard program to use and was more lenient in my reviews later on. I even had the opportunity to try out flash and that program is nothing to mess around with. It takes so much time to learn how to use it properly and the average user will end up quitting. Most of the crappy flashes that get posted had lots of work put into them.

I used to have so much pride in reviewing tens on flashes that I thought were the best and thought it was a special message to every one else that they should vote on what I thought was the best, and the same goes for what I thought was the worst. Looking back, I didn't know wtf I was doing. I rated the epic Salad Fingers a seven when it came out, because it wasn't the funny crap that I usually like to watch! Well, now I actually pay attention to what makes a good flash as opposed to being a pompous dick that thinks he knows it all. If you look at my earliest reviews, I was mostly just a dick to flashes that were crappy just so I could tell somebody they suck. That was before Tom put up his rules to not do that.

I don't know if anyone actually reads blogs on newgrounds. It's not exactly facebook, or myspace, or twitter, or twatbook, but I just decided to blog about my experience on Newgrounds. Thanks for giving me hundreds of enjoyably wasted hours, newgrounds.

*P.S.- One day I'll learn how to use that son-of-a-bitch program, flash.
